Catching up...

Seems like something new happens every week (or every couple of days) with Colin that it's hard to keep up. He is a different baby than any other I've ever been around: he hates bathes, but likes his 'tummy-time' - well, in 10 minute intervals, he fights going to sleep during the day & will only take 20 minute naps, but at night he can barely stay up long enough to finish a bottle.

He is definitely getting bigger & balder every day.
He has now grown out of all his 0-3 month clothes, and I have to say a BIG THANK YOU to big sis Chris, Amy and Amy's big sis Kelly and also a great big Thank God! for hand-me-downs. I have yet to buy an outfit (not for a lack of wanting to, but for a lack of being able to); so, these hand-me-downs and all the presents have really saved us.

Surprise!

As you can see he is gaining weight like crazy, but I'm happy since they say when a baby gets to a certain weight they'll sleep through the night. I'm looking forward to not waking up every two hours all night (yep, he changed from every 3 to every 2 during the night).
He's also now doing the "hand behind the head/I'm on vacation" look when you bottle feed him and even sometimes while he sleeps.

Pat, Amy & Hailey came up for a few days, and they were able to teach us A LOT. We can even take walks with Colin wide awake the whole time since they left their 3-wheel stroller with us :)They also brought us Hailey's old activity center which Colin LOVES. Hailey showed Colin how to hit all the buttons & use all the toys. The loud "clanks" might have startled him every time, but he never cried because he really enjoyed watching Hailey do all her 'big kid' activities (like jumping-diving off the stairs into the dog beds).
