Although Hailey didn't like it when Pat, Amy or Nadia gave Colin a lot of attention...
...she seemed to really like Colin and even gave him a big hug without anyone asking her to.
Colin loved it there!
There were so many toys, books, blankets, & people to play with.
Daddy (Jon) even got into playing with the toys ;)
But no matter where we are Colin loves to veg out with his Baby Einstein.
2nd Stop: After dropping Jon and his brother Josh off (who made their way to Nana & Popu's place in Minnesota), and Colin and I drove to Grammie & Bopbop Stone's house in Aptos where Colin LOVED to be spoiled.
Grammie always provided a nice, warm place to sleep,
and lots of great toys that he just doesn't have at home (or at least none this fancy).
Grammie even taught Colin baby yoga ;)
She gave him all sorts of cute monkey items, like this onsie. Sooooooooo big!
With Colin's teething, he always found something to put in his mouth.
They also provided lots of outings (i.e.: Giants game & Soul Food Sunday party) for Colin to show off his newly acquired outfits (thanks to Aunt Chris & cousin J.T.).
Most importantly (especially to mommy) they provided a great place to sleep, and with that ocean air came Colin's longest naps & most consecutive hours of sleeping during the night. Now you can't put a price tag on that!
Since there was no room in my car for Colin's swing (his favorite thing), Grammie & Bopbop went out and got a great one for him which he ended up using every day.
Bopbop took him down to the Seascape bluffs where Colin was able to try real swings for the first time.
Although he wasn't so sure about them, he did like Bopbop's attention.
They also took Colin many places he had never been before...
...like 'where it all began' our wedding site at Seascape.
Both Bopbop & Colin got a lot of attention and comments ...
... I wonder why :)
The 'Soul Food Sunday' party at MaryBeth & Carolyn's house was a big hit with Colin.
There was a lot of people (or audience as Colin sees it), a big waterfall fountain with a small stream full of fish and a lush lawn - - all Colin's favorites.
Aptos was fantastic! We were sad to leave, but we really missed Daddy...
... but I knew that Colin would be sorely missed.
Oh, another big thing in Aptos -- although I wasn't able to get it on camera, Colin rolled over for the first time (well, just back to front at that time).
Next stop was Booneville, CA for Jenny & Justin's wedding. Grammie & Bopbop rented a great big place called The Glass House where Grammie, Bopbop, Pat, Amy, Hailey, Jon, Colin, and I stayed.
It was VERY hot, but Pat & Amy filled up a baby pool where Colin and Hailey got to stay cool (the golden retreivers, Mamie & McKenzie, thoroughly enjoyed it as well). This photo also shows why Uncle Pat lovingly refers to Colin as the "Michelin Man".

Colin loves to party, too. Unlike his early months, he really likes crowds (or audiences) now.

After all the new sights, all the partying, all the new people he got to meet, and all the traveling Colin was pooped. Jon and I had never seen him sleep so much as we drove him home. He basically slept four out of the five hours we were in the car.
